Vector the Crocodile is the oldest looping member of the Chaotix, the team's leader, and often a detective for hire. He has a policy of never turning down paying work, regardless of the client, but he also has a policy about what to do with clients who double cross him or try to default on their debts.
Early Loop Activity[]
Vector and the other Chaotix tend to either help Knuckles defend the Floating Island and the Master Emerald, or run a detective agency that is often teetering on the edge of solvency.
Vector in particular is known to keep track of debts other loopers owe him, and will often use it as leverage when they ask for big favors.
Abilities[]
Fused and Variant Loops allow Loopers to gain abilities beyond what would be accepted as normal. Vector has displayed the following abilities:
- Brawling: Vector isn't the strongest in the Sonicverse, nor the best trained, but he is one heck of a scrapper.
- Detective Skills: He's no Sherlock Holmes, but people are perpetually surprised by how good Vector actually is at the profession.
- Fire Breath: No one quite knows where Vector picked this ability up, but neither can anyone deny its effectiveness.
- Power of Rock: Vector has learned how to use rocking sound waves offensively. Recently he and the other Chaotix obtained magical musical instruments (from Sonic as payment for some old debts) that can split the ground and manipulate the weather in a local area. Vector takes the microphone.
- Transformations: Vector has picked up only one known transformation at this time.
- Vector Man: Shortly after Vector and the others helped get the Megaverse online, it was discovered that the events had left each of those involved with a benign glitch in their Yggdrasil code that could be tapped to transform into their Roboticized Master selves and back.
- Extreme Gear: Vector possesses decent skill with the air-powered hover racers known as Extreme Gears, but he tends only to race when there's prize money to win. He prefers to use the bike variety.
- Subspace Pocket: An ability nearly every Looper learns, Vector can take an object and "hide it away" from the rest of the world. An item in a Subspace Pocket will remain there even if a loop resets unless the object in question is also Looping.
Relationships[]
The Chaotix: Vector is the nominal leader of the team and is good friends with all of its members.
Proto Man: Vector has a fair amount of respect for the robot, despite his tendency to call him "Pogo Man".
Knuckles: Vector likes Knuckles and the two go way back with each other.
Shade: Vector has nothing against the female echidna and welcomes her as a part-time member of the Chaotix.
