Shinji appears as a brown haired Japanese boy of about 14, seen in either a school uniform or a white and blue skin tight body suit
As one of the Original Seven, Shinji was one of the first Loopers. The first to truly fall into despair, his and his looper's attempt to escape the loops by fusing their Evangelion's led to their first fused loop and the first meeting of the original seven.
Prior to the first crash, Shinji, Rei, Asuka and Kaoru had been in a polyamorous romantic relationship, though it is implied to have died after the first major fused loop.
Piloting Skills: Shinji is the pilot of Unit 1, an Evangelion Unit, and manages it rather well. He'd rather be doing anything but, however.
Subspace Pocket: As an looper, Shinji possesses a Subspace Pocket
Chakra: Having looped in Naruto's reality, Shinji has gained chakra powers.
Magic: Shinji has spent time in Harry Potter's reality, and thus learned magic
The Force: Shinji possesses the ability to use the force.
The Original Seven: Shinji is the reason the original seven met, and thus could be considered the instigator of modern loop organization.
Rei Ayanami: One of the loopers from his world, they generally get along well. Their exact relationship is unclear, but is broadly platonic.
Asuka Langley Sohryu: Another looper from his world, they generally butt heads but can work together. They don't always agree on everything.
Kaoru Nagisa: The last known looper from the Evangelion world that had awoken prior to the attempt to escape the loops, Kaoru was known to be romantically interested in Shinji. It is unknown how Shinji currently views it.
Loopers in general: Most loopers respect Shinji as a member of the Original Seven.
Gendo Ikari: Like most loopers, Shinji does not like his father that much. However, after Gendo began looping and started to succumb to depression, Shinji agreed to help and protect his father, if Gendo made the attempt to better himself.
